Name: Altia Isles
Description: The Altia isles are a magical place that is south of the mainland, it takes about a day to travel there by boat. As you approach the islands you can feel the dense magic in the air, it feels almost like walking into a thick fog. All magic is a little easier to use and less taxing on your stamina when used here. It's not a huge difference, but a small difference. The Altia isles are split up into five small islands with a plateau in the middle of them all. The two northern islands are connected by a bridge and a mountain, the second of the two having two volcanoes on it. It is also connected to the eastern island via a mountain.
The eastern island is entirely mountainous terrain, while not impossible to traverse there is no place to land a ship and the terrain is difficult to get across. The fairies use these mountains as mines since with their flight abilities they don't need to worry about hazardous terrain. So travelers may find miniature mines around this area.
The western island is entirely a jungle, and it is connected to the larger southern island where the jungle reaches down and across the two islands.
The southern island is roughly the size of two of the other islands. The jungle from the western island cuts across the left half of it, and a river runs in from the northern end of the island, forking near the middle. The part of the river that goes to the east ends in a small lake. The part going to the west cuts through the jungle, and goes southwest all the way across the southern island and back into the ocean. The eastern side of the southern island, other than the small lake, is relatively open and has a nice beach.
On the plateau in the middle of all three islands, is the fairy city. It is not attached to any of the other islands, making it difficult for anything that can't fly to reach it since you do not want to steer a ship through the central area between the islands, too many water elementals. But it can be seen from the shore of any of the islands. The fairies have no difficulty flying to any of the islands.
