Description: Found on the Altia isles the Fairy city resides on the small plateau in the middle of all the islands. It is over the water and does not connect to the other islands although the fairies have no problem flying to the nearby islands when needed, it's just a short distance away. They often go to the nearby islands for resources when needed, or they have been known to test their magic against the elementals who inhabit the surrounding area. What better way to prove you've mastered an element, then to defeat the embodiment of that element itself?
While the fairy city is a big city, to a human it's no bigger than a two story house. But anything that comes near the city is shrunk down to the fairy equivalent of its size, allowing anyone to visit the city whenever they like. The city looks almost like a modern city that was made about 70% out of gemstones. The main differences are that many buildings have multiple floors, but no stairs to reach the higher floors. That and many buildings actually levitate high in the air, the city clearly has a lot of magic at work in it and was built for people who could fly. The fairies rarely walk from one place to another so buildings not being on the ground are not an issue for them.
The houses in the city are not powered by electricity, but by magic. Each house has gemstones attached to them that supply the house with power and energy, when the gemstone runs out of magic each year the house owners simply buy a new one, or head to the mines on the Altia islands to get more.
Most shops and important things are high up in the air where they can be easily seen from anywhere in the city, the average human can't get to them without assistance however the shops usually have a rope hanging down for those without wings to climb up. With most of the city being made out of gemstones, during the day the light reflects all over the place for a really beautiful display of colors. It is breathtaking for many people who haven't seen it before.
